Join the folks at Kids Market – Granville Island and Lasting M.A.G.I.C. (Memories Art Gifts in Children) as they transform Kids Market into Neverland hosted by the likes of Captain Hook, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell and Wendy. Storytelling, crafts and a variety of events will make this a day full of magic and memories for everyone. Join the staff of Kids Market and dress up as a lost boy or pirate. Craft a handmade memory book, complete with your photo taken with your favourite Neverland characters.

Lasting M.A.G.I.C. (Memories are Gifts in Children) provides grief and bereavement counselling to children that are faced with the difficult emotional challenge of having a parent diagnosed with a terminal illness and to honour the parent by fulfilling a wish that will create memories for the child. www.lastingmagic.org

Kids Market - "The Buskers Are Coming!"

The best of Granville Island's family fun buskers are returning to the Kids Market in early June 2007. The buskers will be at the rear of the market (just outside the big garage door) near Pedro's Organic Coffee House, 7 days a week between 11 AM and 6 PM. Watch for children's, acoustic and classical music, magicians, balloon artists and more.....

A visit to the Kids Market to shop and play, go splash in the water park next door, have some lunch and enjoy the duck pond now includes free entertainment from many of Vancouver's best family performers.
