Just Imagine! Cranky little green men called leprechauns
are taking over on Wednesday, March 17. Dig out your favorite green t-shirt because on this special day,
as they say everyone is Irish.
On St. Paddy's day Irish people celebrate independence. The green leafy shamrock which blooms in spring
is Ireland's most popular national symbol. St. Patrick is Ireland's patron saint.
There are more than 600,000 Irish-born people living in BC and this is their day. If we're all
Irish for one day of the year let's join the party!
